Within 82 billable hours, I prepared the team for fundraising by onboarding quickly and brainstorming concepts. I prepared engineering tickets and founded the monorepo codebase with a UI kit, marketing site, and mobile app prototype. As both a Senior Engineering Manager and the 1st engineer at FastlaneFi, I was responsible for building and operating the company's entire UX surface to grow from 0 to 600,000+ MAUs. I established and maintained agile development practices company-wide and directly hired, managed, and mentored 7+ engineers while also providing technical guidance and coordinating work with the other engineering, design, and compliance teams, as well as regular reporting to the CEO and CTO. Core technologies included React, Bootstrap, NextJS, WordPress, and Stencil.

This app services the entire Hyperfine customer base, allowing them to self service their user accounts and devices. I graphic designed and built the entire web app using Bootstrap, SveltKit, and freebie assets. The app has SSR and uses Node, Redis, and in-house APIs and looks great on apple, android, and desktop.
accounts.hyperfine.ioThe digital-physical interface (IoT) for operating the Swoop MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanner. I hired and led a team of 3 short-term contract engineers to replace the nearly decade old MRI controller on a tight deadline. The new PWA is extensible, installable, feels native, supports i18n, and targets support for iPad safari. It's built with Bootstrap and Svelte and includes an abstracted UI kit.

As the sole product engineer on the Smart Desk team, I built the WeWork booking and administration tools which provided realtime occupancy information allowing members to reserve space instantly and remotely. WeWork product teams gain valuable insights into occupancy, desirability, and other metrics about the space. I leveraged an MQTT backend, in-house designs, and built an installable PWA with Svelte.
